Sunrise Children's Villages

Sunrise Children's Villages are two orphanages located in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, Cambodia. Also known as ‘The Australia Cambodia Foundation’, the charity was founded in September 1993, following a visit to the region by Geraldine Cox. The orphanages currently care for hundreds of orphaned or disadvantaged Cambodian children and plans are in place to open a third Sunrise Children's Village in Sihanoukville.

In 2005 Geoff and Mat attended a fundraising event for SCV and met Geraldine Cox. Hearing her describe the challenges she faces on a daily basis, the guys saw an opportunity to make their own dream journey of biking across South East Asia a meaningful adventure that could benefit thousands…
